A video they filmed for the inaugural Global Ministerial Conference on Violence Against Children showed the couple addressing the dangers kids deal with when they use modern technology.
They filmed the video just three months after they traveled to Colombia in August 2024 on a trip with their famous charity, the Archewell Foundation. Lately, Meghan and Prince Harry have been more involved in social issues and have been making more public appearances. This has led many to believe they’ve reconnected with the royal family.

It’s quite a shock that the globally recognized couple has decided to address a British holiday and it is another hint that they want to be viewed as major figures who are part of the royal family.
Additionally, Prince Harry discussed his opinions of the relationship between technology and children in the video. He said that this is an essential time to protect children as they navigate the digital world. He commented, “While the necessity has always been apparent, it’s now time to translate that awareness into meaningful action.”
Meghan discussed the dangers that kids face online and how they are targeted in unexpected ways. She expanded, “At the Archewell Foundation, we engage with young people, families, and experts worldwide, learning about how every aspect of a child’s life—from their livelihood to their physical and mental well-being—now operates within an online economy that has both the power to shape and misshape our connections.” The fact that the video contains such serious and somber content is also a signifier that the couple is hoping to join the ranks of the royal family once more.
